Brown blood after internal ultrasound

Hi Girls, just looking for abit of advice had a transvaginal ultrasound yesterday after having some pain. Everything was fine measured exactly to my dates of 5 weeks 5 days. Today I have had some what looks like old brown blood when I wipe. Does anybody know if this is normal should I be concerned should I call EPU back and ask them. I thought after yesterday’s good scan I would have some less worrying for a few days at least.
Thanks

I had a very similar experience! Don't panic, it's common and is usually nothing to worry about. But you should definitely give your midwife or the EPU a call anyway, they might want to give you another ultrasound (that's what happened to me!) but either way they will have the best advice for you x

Brown blood is old blood probably just dislodged by the scanner. But if concerned please speak to the EPU unit. better to be over than under cautious

Just spoken to early pregnancy unit and they think it’s just all blood that’s been dislodged by the scan. They said if it’s only a bit it’s nothing to worry about. Said just call back I’d be ones so heavy that I am changing pad every hour. I’ve got another scan booked for 26th as I was very early so hopefully it’s just a little bit of movement after the scan

@BT1994
I just wanted to check how things went with your scan if you don't mind me asking?
I've had the same today, I went for an internal scan. Everything perfect and saw the heartbeat. Then this evening I've been experiencing a lot of bleeding. So I'm not sure if it is because of the internal scan.
