How long did you wait for combined screening results?

Just as the title says really! How long did you wait for combined screening results? For the 12 week screening for Down's syndrome, edwards and pateaus. I'm just curious! I had mine done Friday and I'm just wondering how long others took!

About 90 minutes. Our trust sends you away for a coffee then you get your initial results when you one back.

In my case the combined screening had me at a risk of >1:500 which qualified me to have Harmony for free. Bloods taken for Harmony there and then and was told up to 7 working days for that to come back but was only 4 both times.

Had mine done on 24th and still waiting! I think they say they should arrive within 3 weeks? And sounds like lots of places call you earlier than that if there's any issues

About a week for mine

10 days for a letter in the post with low risk results. I was told that high risk would get a phone call within 2 days

1st baby done same day
2nd baby 3 weeks

Did you ask how long it might take? I was told today ours would take a week and if anything of concern I would get a phone call sooner

I was told that if it was high risk, I’d get a call within 2 weeks but if was low risk, I’d just be told at my 16 week midwife appointment

@DappledThings can I ask where does the harmony test for free? I had to pay £500 for mine, initial result from combined screening was 1 in 74.

I got a call within a couple of days of my scan and bloods as I had a high risk of Downs Syndrome caused mainly by my age (40).

Thanks everyone! No one really told me how long so I was just wondering. Hopefully get mine back soon!

I got my results by phone after 5 days. I was high risk for DS (age related) @FrangipanFlower the NHS has been offering NIPT (of which I think Harmony is a brand name) since June - I'm NW England but i was told it's offered everywhere

I was at King's and this was 4 and 6 years ago.

With mine they said they would call if an issue in a few days otherwise you get results at 16wk mw appointment

Waiting for mine very anxiously. They said if high chance phone call with in a week or 5 days from 30th September. Low chance I will get back in the post in two weeks or more. So just remember no news is good news in this particular moment ❤️
