Could I be pregnant?

So, my partner and I are ttc but he’s in the military so is away from home a lot. This is making it difficult to hit the correct day to try! I ovulated last Thursday and we tried the next day (Friday), is there a chance I could be pregnant or?

My dh is military and away a lot, we have 6 kids from 5 term pregnancies. Often conceived when he's had leave periods rather than weekends home.

eggs live for about 12-24 hours after ovulation. Do you mean you actually ovulated on thursday or you got a peak on the test on thurs. usually the test shows a peak about 12-36 hours before actual ovulation so would be bang on time

These threads always confuse me. Obviously there's a chance of conception if you have unprotected sex whilst you're ovulating.
