Still waiting on screening results 11 days later

Hi all

Just trying to gauge how long people have waited for their NHS screening results.

I had my 12 week scan on 1st October which was a Friday and was told there was a slightly longer wait on some results as they were sent off site (I forget the exact details but I think it was some extra bloods as I'm over 40)

They did also say that no news is good news but I'm just starting to wonder as I haven't even received a letter to give statistics of the three way screening.

It's 11th now so that's 10 day wait (but 4 of those days are weekend days)

Does that sound quite normal or should I chase it up?

I think I waited about three weeks for the results letter very recently.

Hi I waited 2-3 weeks recently for mine.

At my particular hospital though, they actually say in the screening literature that if there is a problem you'll get a telephone call within around 3 days. So that put my mind at rest (slightly!)

Yes I remember them saying something similar to me about a phone call too.

Just to add to the confusion though, I missed a call from the hospital last Thursday 7th but it was made by a company they outsource by. When I called the hospital they couldn't tell me what department it came from!

I got another missed call from the number today which is why I started to wonder about results.

I am under the care of another department in the hospital for something unrelated so it could be from there...but seemingly the hospital can't tell me and the company don't leave a message!

I'm not overly worried as I imagine my designated midwife would be trying to contact me if they have been trying to get hold of me since Thursday 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I had my scan on a Tuesday, and got the results letter nearly 3 weeks later

Have you got the badger app? As my results were on there a few days before the letter came through the post.

At my 12 week scan last week they said if anything shows up on screening tests then they would call me within 5 days.
