Maternity allowance, unemployed

I’m due my second child next June. I’ve only just gone back to work after maternity leave with DC1 and I hate it. Im thinking of handing in my notice and working until Christmas.
So I’m looking at Maternity Allowance, and I’m pretty sure I would qualify but have a few questions. I have been employed for at least 26 weeks in the 66 weeks before my due date as required, but as mentioned it was mat leave. But as I was still paying National Insurance I’m sure that would still qualify me? Also when I have to give proof of my payslips for that period, it will be showing my mat pay and not my proper wage, will that make any difference?
