How long did it take you to conceive at 42/ 43 and up ...please share some positive stories

Following out of curiosity. We TTC for 9 years and gave up when I was 39 after multiple MC. I thought I was over it as it was too late to start a family in my 40's and given past history the chances are slim to none... but still... it's in my mind...
