Does anyone know what would happen if you're planning a home birth with independent midwife and she wanted me to be on the hospital system if I need their support. Hospital have said they want a whole fresh set of green notes and bloods, basically a full booking appointment. I'm almost due to give birth and there are hardly any appointments for this booking appointment. I'm wondering.what would happen if you needed the hospital but you're 'not booked in'.
