Always thirsty! Is this normal?

Hi,

So I’ve noticed that I keep feeling really thirsty and no matter how much I drink I just feel dehydrated. My wee is usually clear & I pee loads but yesterday I drank loads of water and woke up with a dry mouth that would not go and a splitting headache, today I just feel so dehydrated. Is this normal in pregnancy or should I be worried? I have my GD test booked in for Dec! I just keep panicking as I keep reading how bad dehydration is in pregnancy

It sounds like GD OP and if I was you, I'd be ringing my midwife to try and get my test brought forward.

Definitely get checked out but I had this, I drank 5 litres of water a day when pregnant. I had 3 diabetes tests and all negative. Water was a craving for me and I was always thirsty

Yes I’d be worried about diabetes. You need to be seen earlier than December

I’m constantly thirsty, to the point where I’m feeling so full of liquid I can’t feel any hunger but my GD tests came back normal. I just take it to be a side effect of my pregnancy

I wouldn't hang about, it's a quick check for GD, better to be checked ASAP.
