Visa for ivf treatment in usa

hi All

We'r planning ivf treatment in usa- California this year end and I don't know what visa is required for this treatment. i am UK citizen so is ESTA only ok?

please can you tell if already had done this before or have any details about this?

I haven't done this but am pregnant after IVF. You might have more answers posting in the Infertility forum.

Considering the length of time you'll be there I'd have thought an ESTA would be appropriate but definitely worth checking, and make sure you have adequate travel insurance.
