I’m 28+2 and just wanting to buy bits n bobs for my bag and babies bag.
Any suggestions? I want to be prepared x

An extra long phone charger is a must!

Loads of maternity pads and massive knickers

Flip flops

Comfy pyjamas or nighties

A light dressing gown

Two bags - I took one for me and my changing bag to be the baby bag

Snacks for after labour!
Lots of water bottles with a sports cap on for during labour
A little toiletry bag with things for you in - toothbrush, unfragranced shower gel etc
A hairbrush, clips and a bobble, hair gets very annoying in labour!
Slippers
Comfy clothes or PJ’s with the biggest, awful pants you can buy
Sliders for the shower
Nipple and maternity pads
Spare change for the car park
Lip balm
A carrier bag to put soiled or worn clothes in

Howver many maternity pads you think you'll need - double it! Snacks are a must have for you and lipbalm is essential too!
For baby, I put every outfit - vest, sleepsuit, scratch mits, hat in individual ziplock bag so that they were easy to find and no rummaging was needed / DH didnt have to attempt to assemble outfits
