38 and pregnant with my 3rd

I'm 38 and just found out in pregnant with my 3rd I feel too old

I was 37 when I had my 3rd! Definitely harder than 32 when I had my first but it was also harder because I had 2 children to look after whilst being pregnant

I’m 39 and 37 weeks pregnant with my third. I also have many moments of feeling too old!

I was 38 when I had my second, 23 years after having Dd1. Two of Dd1's friends were pregnant at the same time as me I felt ancient.

I'm 41 and pregnant with no 3 too, have boys of 6 and 8. Also feel a bit ancient but excited as well! Haven't told my mum yet though, not sure what she'll make of it. (Am 10 weeks, waiting for 12 scan to be sure it's ok.)

This is comforting not alone, I’m 42 waiting a 3rd too with teens. I’m nervous both of the 12 week scan being ok and also my mum’s reaction too!! But we’ve thought it carefully through and decided we’ll manage and be thrilled if all healthy . A friend is same boat and panicked felt her 3rd was the best thing ever once she arrived!

Had my son 2 weeks before I turned 40. Honestly, never gave being too old a thought.

In only about 5 weeks so still early full of mixed emotions worried how my kids will react when we tell them lol x

I am 37 and 13 weeks pregnant with a surprise no.3. My other DC will be 12 and 9 when baby is born.

I'm 37 and my 3rd is 48 hours old. So far, so good. The hardest thing is having 2 already rather than my age.

I was 39 when I got pregnant with my fourth. Older kids were 18, 9 and 8. Had him at 40 then had number 5 at 41 (nearly 42)

#4 was my easiest pregnancy, physically and mentally.

I'll be 38 when my first baby is born in April. I don't feel old at all though and mid 30s - 40 seems to be a common age around me for people starting their families

I had my 4th at 39, my other children were 12, 10 and 7 when I had him.
I was terrified when I found out and the age gap seemed huge but he has absolutely completed our family and we all adore him. I sent my husband for the snip soon after I'd had him though 🤣🤣🤣

It’s lovely not to feel alone. Has anyone else been worried about their scan? I’ve got 2 more days to wait for 12 week one but suspect I’m further along than that as not sure (I’ve been noticing movement for about 10 days ). I’m just worried about risks going up with my age/ heart being ok etc.

I've got an early scan tomorrow to check all is in the right place as I've had a previous ectopic. I'm really nervous also terrified it's twins 😂

Ha! I was 46 with my third. It was fine.

Mine was only a singleton thank goodness!! And a boy! Felt exciting ok so far and did a blood test for screening which takes a week.
