Hi girls.. I'm worried as I've still not felt movements? It's my first.. and I don't know if I'm just gonna go full term without movements 🤦🏻‍♀️

I've got an anterior placenta (my first too) and I barely felt anything until 20 weeks. I had a 28 week scan recently and I could see it wriggling around and I wasn't feeling a thing which was quite reassuring actually! Now I'm 30 weeks I am still not feeling much, I'll often go 5-6 hours without anything but then the odd spell it'll be quite strong, normally in the middle of the night like now.

@OM82 no way!!!! I thought at 30 weeks the movement would be quite prominent? Wow I don't think I have the patience

I have one too i am 19 weeks+ and this week realised i was feeling the baby but it feels nothing like i thought it would

Its been a combo of.....

  • Internal itching.
- Being tickled Internally under my lungs (i dont enjoy this)
  • slight Pinching sensations lower down in my abdomen
  • abso-fucking-lutely nothing like anything that can be described as "flutters"

I am past being surprised now as i have spent most of my pregnancy thinking "wtf why did no one mention this" about various aspects of pregnancy.

I have the same, I think by 22 weeks I could properly feel stuff but before then it was so faint x

I had one, first big kick 23 weeks then very few and far between until I'd say about 30.

I had an anterior placenta and I was much the same, few movements here and there that I really had to concentrate on to feel. Like someone above said 30+ weeks they got more pronounced but I could still miss them if I was busy with other things like work! Had more than a few visits to the maternity unit to be checked over for reduced movement.
