Hi, so I'm 37+2 and currently booked in for a C-section at 39+5, but the little thing in me is not so little! He's already nearly 4kg and I'm struggling so much! Has anyone had any experience with this and know if I could push to have my C-section moved to a sooner date, he's way past the 99th percentile for babies and is making everything hurt Sad I do have an appointment with the consultant next Wednesday to discuss things, but in the meantime I'm stressing so much!
Thank you!

I think you could probably ask to have your section at 39 weeks bang on. I think unless there are medical reasons to deliver (esp via section, section babies are at a higher risk of breathing issues) they don’t like to deliver earlier. Xx

With babies weights and stuff I got really worried about it. My DD was predicted to be tiny and was always measuring behind. She was born via section at 37 weeks due to complications (with me not her.) She was 7lb 4, she was grunty and a little jaundice so she spent the first night in NICU and I had 2 steroid injections beforehand. They will only intervene earlier if there is high risk, but try not to worry too much about baby's weight as they aren't spot on with them very often. Good luck!
