Hi all,
I have to stay with my MIL for the next three weeks while my house gets renovated. She sadly has cancer and is on a break from chemo while we are there. She does, however, have to have a PET scan next Friday. i have read that she should avoid close contact with pregnant people afterwards but I have nowhere I can go other than her house. Can anyone advise - how long should I keep my distance for, and what that distance should be? What constitutes "close contact" in a medical sense? i don't want to offend her but at the same time, the baby is my priority. Am thinking I should maybe just go and sit in the attic room but depends how long this is an issue for.
