False positive?

Hi, sorry I posted a few days ago asking for peoples opinion on a test I did.
I took a strip test 3 days ago that had a very faint positive. I took a digital one later that same day and it came back negative. Since then I have tested every morning with first wee and they have been negative. I'm currently 17 days late for my period.
What's the latest someone has had a positive after a missed period? I don't know what to think and can't stop think about it.
I have no symptoms of pregnancy or my period coming.
Just to add I had a bit of blood after wiping over a week ago so presumed my period was coming but nothing since.

I know false positives are very rare but has it happened to anyone else?

If you are 17 days late I would expect a blaring line no matter what test you take. It could just be simply the fact you are late for AF.

I had this earlier in the year where my period was 30 days late and there was no reasoning for it at all - went to the doctors who took bloods and on the day of my result AF arrived, very bizarre!

Try and relax as this can prevent things happening x

I would also say you should be getting a really strong line if you are that late.

Lots of things can affect your cycle. Stress/medication/illness etc

I track my periods, and over the last few years I have completely missed a period twice.
