Umbilical cord between legs!

Hi, just looking to see other stories on this.

Went for our 20 weeks scan on Wednesday and everything looks perfect. Babies umbilical cord was between their legs so she couldn't be sure on sex. She did say she "thinks she says a girl" but has booked me in for 2 weeks time for a rescan ( double checking heart and kidneys too). Just looking to see if anyone else was told that sonographer/consultant "think baby was a certain sex" and turned out to be the the other sex? I'm scanned by fetal medicine, so I have faith her thoughts are correct. I've now ran with her saying baby is a girl and I'm now hoping she's stays a girl!

Sometimes even sonographers who are pretty sure on the baby's sex get it wrong, so I wouldn't get too set on what they said if it was hard for them to see. Hopefully when they rescan you to check the baby's heart and kidneys they might be able to have a better look. As hard as it is to be patient in pregnancy, I think patience and remaining open minded to it being a boy or a girl is going to be the best approach here :)

3 separate scans told me a girl. A ds arrived... He is very smug that he was born with a huge handle to pull him out with...
