I know know pregnancy is different, and from my dates I'm about 6 weeks tomorrow

I have a bit of nausea that comes and goes with some heartburn, plus sore boobs but that's a out it!

With my 1st, I felt like I'd been hit by a bus! I could barley get up and go to work as my fatigue was so bad and I felt sick 24/7. If I'm being honest I can't remember when that exactly started, but I'm pretty sure it was right around the time I found out I was pregnant

Should I be concerned or is this normal?

Knowing my luck I'll be hit with eveeh symptom going in the morning 😅🤦‍♀️

Every pregnancy is different and the fact you have some symptoms is a good sign. Try and not worry x

Roonilwazlib1 · 08/10/2021 09:30

I was the same Smile I was in a constant state of anxiety as the symptoms I did have were very mild and all you hear about is stories of people suffering throughout the first trimester and often beyond that too. The one symptom I've had all the way through has been vivid dreams. Other symptoms have come and gone and been really mild.

I'm now 24 weeks and all going perfectly!

@babyboybluex thank you for your reply. Trying not to worry ans hopefully in the next few weeks I'll have some more symptoms

I'd say at 6 weeks with this pregnancy (second) I had the same symptoms as you and I'm now 8+1 and the nausea has kicked up a gear/even sorer boobs. Try and enjoy the minimal symptoms and keep positive Smile @Km12345

There's women out there who go into labor without even knowing they're pregnant. Just watch a few "i didn't know I was pregnant" episodes Grin

Every pregnancy is different and severity and number of symptoms are in no way correlated with the health of the foetus. Try not to dwell on these anxious thoughts

Km12345 · 08/10/2021 09:39

Thank you all for your positive reassuring comments 😊no doubt all symptoms will hit me at once and I'll regret having very few symptoms!

I didn't even know i was pregnant at six weeks. started getting naseau at about 7 weeks which tipped me off.

It's very early to "feel" pregnant. I am nearly 24 weeks now and only just "feeling" it now

midnight90 · 08/10/2021 09:44

I'm the same 6weeks 7 on Sunday and I've got no symptoms or nothing, sometimes I feel like I'm not pregnant.
I know it's different for everyone, just waiting for the scan so I can see it for real but I've got a long wait ahead of me.

Km12345 · 08/10/2021 09:47

@midnight90 yes same as me , I think once I actually see it I will believe it !!

Have you had an appointment for your scan yet? I spoke with a community midwife the other day who said she'd get it booked it . Obviously I know will be a good few weeks away till it actually happens

I remember feeling like a complete fraud up until my twelve week scan. I couldn’t believe everyone just took my word for it! Grin

There are loads of women who don't even know they are pregnant (no symptoms) until they miss their second or third period. Millions of women around the world don't have access to tests like we do.

Early testing can be a positive thing but it can also make you hyper aware of every little sign.

Remembering my old NCT days, most of my group had very little early signs apart from a few sore boobs and most kicked in around the 9-11 weeks mark.

Try not to worry. It in no way indicates anything about the health or viability of your pregnancy.

QueenLagertha · 08/10/2021 10:52

OP I am the exact same. Awful first trimester with first pregnancy. I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and I could easily not know I am pregnant. I haven't had a scan yet though. It's not for another 3 weeks. I actually "forget" I am pregnant and haven't even told anyone.

NCON · 08/10/2021 11:05

Just here to chime in the same really, 6 weeks tomorrow and not even a hint of a sign apart from the positive pregnancy test. I was the same last time around, apart from the belly I never had any other symptoms. It such a strange place to be. I remember last time I was afraid they would scan and there would be nothing there 😂 I'm thinking it might be the same this time around too, can't help but worry 🙈 have my scan date for 26th of Nov which is just ages away but hopefully will fly in 😊

Great to see lots of others in the same position 😊

Roselilly36 · 08/10/2021 11:08

Congrats OP, I was exactly the same. Good luck.

I was the same, I said throughout most of my 1st trimester that if I hadn't been ttc and had positive tests, I wouldn't have known I was pregnant. I was so worried about lack of symptoms that I booked an early scan at 7w. I had a really easy pregnancy for the most part, hopefully you're just lucky and you can enjoy it! Congratulations 😊

Yeah I spoke to a midwife the other day over the phone to get me booked in for in a few weeks, she said someone will send me an email with the date as such by Friday but I've had nothing yet 😬I do get that they may be extremely busy.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with no symptoms yet. Oh and congratulations 😁
