Headache and chills

I’m 7 weeks tomorrow and I’ve had very unpleasant morning sickness (lucky not being sick but feel pretty awful) I’m completely wiped out which I suppose is normal, but I’ve got a stinking headache that comes with the nausea and I’m so so cold prickly skin etc been like this for a week. Should I ring the dr or is it par for the course? Also my mum has scared me saying not to take paracetamol, which I took in my previous pregnancy without any problems. Any thoughts? Thanks 😊

I’ve had this as well, I have been absolutely freezing! I think it’s something to do with your blood supply being diverted towards the baby etc, but then as your blood volume increases your circulation should improve so you feel warmer.

I think paracetamol is safe in pregnancy but Ibruprofen is to be avoided, but it’s best checking with a pharmacist. Other than that, rest and fluids! Hope you feel better soon x
