I’m 27+4 and just had my fundal height measured for second pregnancy. Is this even normal??

The Midwife drew the x so I assume she’s got it right?!

My health visitor said that anything marked as an X on these charts is a mistake.

Whoops- marks are plotted as a coloured in circle.

I measured 3 weeks big for dates from when the midwife started measuring, this was with the same midwife throughout so no inconsistencies.

If you are consistently big they will probably offer you a fasting glucose test to screen for gestational diabetes and a scan to measure babies size and amniotic fluid levels.

All these test were fine for me and I just had a big baby (9lb 1/² Oz but with a 98 percentile head circumference) at 39+5 and my amniotic fluid levels were right at the top of the normal range and apparently my placenta was massive too. Basically I resembled a whale, but still had a normal vaginal delivery with entonox and morphine.

No x is fundal height, coloured in circle is estimated weight on scan (midwife)
