Working at home while pregnant

Hi,
I'm 19 weeks pregnant and I work from home answering phones and emails so I do long shifts where I am sat down for hours on end!
I'm stating to get a lot bigger now and I'm very uncomfortable working.
I had a high quality chair with back support and try to take short regular breaks where I just walk around my house but can anyone suggest anything else I can try?
Thank you :)

Only to get up more often, every 20 mins if you can

Maybe have a longer walk (outside) on your lunch break?

I swear by a standing desk! My partner has one (paid by his work) so worth seeing about that Smile

It it electronic so can go up and down to suit sitting/standing x

I find sitting in my work chair increasingly uncomfortable now so I've got one of those birthing balls which I now use to sit on sometimes at my desk instead. I find it helps with my posture too.

I’ve moved to the sofa and have taken to trying to go for long walks in the morning.

I’ve found wfh to be a blessing and worked horizontally on my bed for much of the pregnancy, On the rare days I had to go into the office I struggled with all the sitting.

I had a pregnancy ball that I used an hour or so a day, especially in the third trimester. I also tried to get out for a walk every evening.
Good luck, you'll get through it

I’m similar. I alternate sitting and standing (laptop on my filing cabinet or kitchen counter), will get the bouncy ball out soon. I’m also going to try a kneeling stool as I think that could really help. Last time I laid on sofa with lap top on a cushion in the later weeks x

I sat on a gym/birthing ball at my desk before I was pregnant as I found it much more comfortable than a cheap chair.
I’d also suggest getting up/moving frequently fo loosen up - walking is great for loosening up the aches and pains!
