I read some studies recently that linked maternal immune responses in pregnancy such as allergies and eczema to later autism in children.
This pregnancy has been crazy for me. Right from the offset I developed perioral dermatitis on my chin. I'm 24 weeks pregnant now and I still have it.
Along with that I have had allergies since the beginning of the second trimester ie itchy eyes, scratchy throat.
Did any of you suffer from eczema, dermatitis or allergies in pregnancy and if so, does your child have autism?
I am sorry for the blunt question, but I am frightened and I have nobody to ask about this.
