Hyperemesis

Has anyone had hyperemesis in their first pregnancy and gone on to have it worse or not at all in second. I’m 5 weeks pregnant, found out when I was 3 and been sick for the last 2 weeks. Really struggling and holding out hope that it dies down and I don’t go down the hyperemesis road again 🥺

@KLOR91 have you seen the hyperemisis support threads on here? I think you’ll get more answers there. Can’t give any advice. I’ve had HG with this pregnancy, and I don’t think I could risk it again with another pregnancy.

@Derbee no I haven’t, I did look but couldn’t find much. I will have another look. Thanks for that. Hope you’re feeling better soon, just think it is hard at the time but it’s not forever xx

There are threads going back years I think. Every time one gets full, another is started. x

Currently pregnant with second baby. Hyperemesis both times. It's been slightly worse this time, I'm afraid. I'm 21 weeks and still sick as a dog. Take stemetil, cyclizine and ondansetron. Join us on Hyperemesis support thread

With my first I had it till 22 weeks, second only 16 weeks and this time I'm 32 weeks and still nauseous. I'm not being sick as much but just constant nausea.
Defined ask for medication it just about got me through the peak weeks. I dont take it anymore even though I'm nauseous all the time as it isn't that bad thankfully.
I've got no hope of it going away til I give birth now..I've given up waiting for it to go.
