Nausea all day and night!

I'm currently 7+5 weeks pregnant and the nausea has kicked up a gear. Yesterday I woke up feeling sick, it lasted all day and through the night. I could barely eat a thing!!

This morning I still have really bad nausea and lower back pain. Is it normal for nausea to last this long at this stage?

Yuck 🤢

Sorry, yes. I had continual nausea day and night for six weeks, in all pregs. Never actually sick though.
Eating little and often helps - don't get hungry whatever you do. Fresh air. Maybe go to bed a little earlier. Experiment and find what works for you. Some people like travel sickness bands.
You just have to get through it really. Not fun!

Hello,

Unfortunately so. With my 1st I had nausea from the moment I woke up to when I went to bed for 6 weeks to about 18 weeks. It's not fun that's for sure.

Try have a pack of plain biscuits by your bedside and have a nibble before you even move. Spearmint polos worked well for me too. I also wore travel sickness bands on my wrist and like the poster above said, don't get hungry as it makes it worse. I used to carry a bag of snacks round with me!

I'm 5 weeks 1 days today and I can feel it brewing already. Atm it's just morning and evening and a few waves in the day.

Lucozade seems to settle my stomach and constantly picking helps

I'm so sorry but yes. Mine lasted from 6 weeks - 16 weeks at that level.

Oh wow thank you everyone - I've noted all your tips/food/drink advice. I'm really struggling with it today, I just feel rotten and like I've got a bad hangover!

Very thankful to work from home but even then it's hard to concentrate. I hope you are all feeling ok and powering through Flowers

Seeing how long everyone else’s have lasted has filled me with dread. I was gearing up to getting through to week 12-13.
I also work from home thankfully but not sure how much longer I can keep up with the someone is at the door during meetings whilst I’m running to be sick. I know what your saying about feeling constantly hungover too.
