Hi, wondering if anyone can tell me if they’ve been in a similar situation or any advice. My ALT level is really high (448) and has gone up gradually from 268 in the past month. AST is also high. Consultants have done so many tests, all negative, and a liver scan which was fine. I didn’t have any itching and my bile acid level was 6 then 8 so they didn’t think it was cholestasis, however they haven’t tested my bile acid for a few weeks. The last few days I’ve had mild itching, which has been worse since this morning, but still not at all unbearable, more like tingling. So I’m wondering, has anyone had cholestasis with similar mild itching? Or is it always crazy intense? Or has anyone been in a similar situation regarding ALT and AST levels and got to the bottom of it?
