I'm 23 weeks. Had a private scan on Saturday as was freaking out as haven't felt any movement yet (all good. Could see her kicking on the scan but placenta is just absorbing everything).

At our 20 week scan her head was the 20th percentile. At this scan she measured the 6th percentile for head size.

Everything else was around the 30th percentile except her femur length which at 20 week scan was 78th percentile and om this scan is the 17th percentile.

I am getting so confused and worried she's got something wrong with her head. Help calm me down please.

Sorry you are going through this. What are the next steps? What have they advised on this? Extra scans or any other tests?

Was you OH in a zika prone area prior to conceiving or you when pregnant? In most cases things will be absolutely fine, so do try not to worry yourself until you know the actual cause the possible outcomes. Flowers

They haven't even mentioned it. They said they aren't worried. The second scan was a private one at an ultrasound clinic not with the hospital. So nice advice.

Neither my oh or I have left the country in since Feb 2020

I had a very similar profile of measurements, but actually below 5th percentile on some of the head measurements. I had some extra scans later on as she looked so little but all was well. DDwas born at 39 weeks on 50th percentile and is absolutely fine.

It’s hard but try not to worry. If the sonographer thought there was a problem, there would be some follow up.
