8w4d no heartbeat

So this morning at 8w4d I had a scan to be told there was no heartbeat.
We had a scan the previous week at 7w2d and there was a heartbeat then.
They've said we can get a re-scan to be sure but they are adamant they couldn't see anything. Has anyone else had this and had a good outcome? I feel like my worlds been shattered.

I don’t have any good news for you, unfortunately I had a scan with a heartbeat at 6 weeks but after some spotting another scan showed no heartbeat after 8 weeks.

Hopefully someone else may have had a more positive experience

I'm so sorry. It sucks so much.

In my last pregnancy we had an early scan at 8+4 and found no heartbeat. Confirmed as missed miscarriage at the hospital the next day.

With my first pregnancy we saw heartbeat at around 6 weeks, then I started bleeding at 10 weeks and fetus was only measuring 6+5.

If you saw HB earlier and now it's not there anymore, and even then with a fetus measuring more than 6 weeks I'm afraid it's not good news if there's no HB :(

This has happened to me twice. I am sorry OP. If it helps it's not an uncommon occurrence and certainly doesn't mean you won't have a healthy baby another time x

I’m so sorry your going through this.

I too don’t have a good story about this. I had a scan at 7/8 weeks and everything was fine. Went back at 11 going on 12 and no heartbeat. I had 2 scans that day and another the following day where I was praying for a miracle but it wasn’t meant to be. It was a missed miscarriage. I had no bleeding or cramps.

I had to have surgical management of miscarriage just over 2 1/2 weeks ago.

It is tough. I also felt like my world had shattered. You will get through this.
