Hi

So I'm 34 weeks pregnant and since yesterday, I've had what I can call very mild period like cramps. They're not regular at all, just random.
I did go to the MAC and everything was fine, I was not contracting.

I just want to know if this is common at this stage? Sad
This is technically my first pregnancy this far, I've had a previous 20 weeks loss.

TIA x

Most probably Braxton Hicks contractions. Basically they are little contractions. The uterus doing training for the big marathon of labour.

Thanks @PlanDeRaccordement

I thought Braxton Hicks were painless?

Mine never were, mild period cramps is how mine were. Enough to make me stop walking and grimace.

They are virtually painless compared to actual labour contractions though. Often the descriptions of them are framed how to tell them apart from actual labour starting.

You can also get cramps from dehydration? Now I think about it. So make sure you are drinking plenty of clear fluids.

Oh great :(

I've a history of preterm labour and also have a stitch so this isn't good news.

Ive not drank enough water today, no.

Thanks @PlanDeRaccordement
