Do you feel your baby move when you’re not touching your belly

Yes

I feel the baby move all the time, but NOT when I'm touching my belly. They seem to be comforted by the touch and become still. Which is quite annoying when I'm trying to demonstrate how wriggly they are to my husband.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. She has days where she kicks and kicks and kicks and I certainly don't need to put my hand on my stomach to feel her. Other days she's really quiet all morning and I begin to get worried until I press my hand to my stomach and can feel that squirmy goldfish feeling. I think it depends on the position of the baby, the sleepiness of the baby and the position of the placenta. Also, my baby goes mad kicking when I cry!
