Around 10 weeks this time as 2nd baby so wanted jeans that didn't dig in!

1st time about 14-16 weeks but found it easier to keep non-maternity clothes a bit longer, I.e. longer tops with hair tie to do jeans up.

Depends on your style! Stretchy dresses with leggings to make up for them getting shorter, smock tops...all save from having to shell out.

I’d get them now so you get your wear out of them!

Recommend H&M for jeans/trousers, long sleeved tops, dresses and underwear (they do fab hipster maternity knickers in a 3 or 5 pack).

Seraphine is nice if you need something for work or a nice dress (again, lots on eBay).

Lots of bundles on eBay or Baby Bundle is also an excellent site - women sell good quality stuff quite cheaply.

I’d try to get a capsule wardrobe where everything matches. Oh and a coat is a good idea if you’re going to be pregnant in winter too.

With my 1st, my SIL recommended I buy some bits around 12 weeks so I had them ready when I needed them. We were also going on holiday when I was 16 weeks so luckily I had taken some with me as that's when my bump "popped" and not many of my normal clothes were comfy!

I'm now 10 weeks with my 2nd and I've been wearing underbump jeans since I was 6 weeks (thanks to the bloating!) I usually wearing high waisted but they're so uncomfortable now!
I've been going through my old maternity clothes and getting them washed and ready for when I need them.

I wouldn't wait until you need them because it will happen quite quickly and not many shops actually have a maternity range in store anymore, a lot of them are just online now

About 12 weeks I started wearing maternity jeans because they’re so comfortable if your stomach is tender or you feel a bit bloated.

Otherwise I’m still in my normal clothes, and currently 15 weeks with my first baby.

I didn't start until around week 22/23 my bump is quite small so didn't really need to buy any until then. Plus everything is online which is so annoying 😩 still haven't managed to get knackered that fit comfortably either to baggy or too tight!!

With my first two I just sized up one for the whole duration

#3 is no joke, been in maternity jeans since about 30 weeks and have bought some t shirts and other bits - new look and ASOS have some okay maternity stuff, most of it I find hideous though. I’ve bought some men’s t shirts in primark to wear with jeans and a few long tops sized up too x

Since 13 weeks, not 30! I’m a weeble at 30 weeks and nothing fits unless oversized!
