PLEASE HELP - Possible/probably miscarriage

I have just been for a 7w scan and there was no heartbeat present and whilst the embryo was visible it was measuring at 6w/5mm. The sonographer has sadly advised that even at 6w or 5mm a heartbeat would be visible so it’s a 70% chance of miscarriage.

I’m not asking for medical advice… I’m not sure what I’m asking… just could it be possible I ovulated late or things are still screwed from a chemical the previous month? I had my progesterone and my HCGs done privately at 4w and everything was perfect so I’m so confused!

This will be my second MC and my heart aches already…

Sucks, doesn't it. I had two losses within a year, now pregnant for the third time.

I guess it is possible, but don't get your hopes up as I fear the sonographer is right - usually you should be able to detect hb at that point, and if at 4 weeks everything was indicating you were indeed 4 weeks and not 3 weeks pregnant then you should be further along now. It's better to be prepared I think. When is your next appointment?

My doubled HCG was 200 from 75.

The range for 3w is 5.8-71.2 and the range for 4w is 9.5-750 so it's slim but who knows.....

Have to see what the scan shows on Sunday but it is unlikely :(
