Ectopic or just early pregnancy pains?

Hi so i’m 5weeks+1day today and for the past couple of weeks i’ve been getting mild AF cramps every day which come and go maybe only once or twice a day. But i’ve also been getting pulling/twinge type pain more towards the right side of my lower tummy, this happens everyday, I have felt it a couple of times on my left side but everyday it’s on the right, it also comes and goes but happens multiple times everyday. It’s not got any worse just stayed the same. I’ve not had any other concerns but I’m panicking and convincing myself that it’s ectopic because the pain is more to the right. Yesterday I got my 3+ on clearblue digital and the first response test was as dark as it can go so I was happy about my levels being correct but I just can’t shake this panic that it’s ectopic. I’ve called my IVF clinic and they’re seeing if they can get me in for a 6 week scan instead of 7 weeks but aren’t sure yet.
Has anyone else had these pains and it’s all been okay or an ectopic? I’m going out of my mind with worry and after 4 years TTC i feel like i can’t even be happy about the pregnancy because i’ve convinced myself it’s in the wrong place Sad thank you x

I had similar in the early stages of pregnancy. Intermittent pain on my lower right side and it hurt if I pressed it. I also convinced myself it was ectopic. The EPU did HCG levels 48 hours apart when I was about 4 weeks pregnant and they came back fine. They then scanned me at about 5 weeks and could see that the pregnancy was in the right place. Turns out the pain was from the cyst that forms after ovulation - that side was the ovary that had released the egg that I'd conceived from.

Can you push for a scan now and HCG tests? Have you spoken to the EPU?

Definitely get checked out. Some pain is normal but it’s hard to tell via the internet! Call 111 and they’ll sort you out.

I had similar pain in early pregnancy and after a scan confirmed that the pregnancy was in the right place, I was just told that it was pain from my womb stretching inside my pelvis. I'm 34 weeks now . If you are concerned get onto your epu
