Hey 😊

Been booked in for an urgent presentation scan this morning as midwife has said baby is lying transverse, she said they may want me to see a doctor straight afterwards aswell, I’m 37 weeks…

Has anyone else experienced this or have any advice on what to expect? Thank you lovely ladies 😊

Mine flips between breech and transverse, I’m 34 weeks.

They may offer to try to move it to head down. I would have thought that would be easier then moving a breech baby.

I’m heading for a c section as mine keeps moving and I have an extra bit of placenta that is stopping it going head down 😩

I find transverse really uncomfortable especially when walking. It’s so heavy.

Good luck with the scan x

Following with interest… I’m 34 weeks and also have a transverse baby. My midwife has said that if it doesn’t move to head down I’ll probably need a section and may be admitted to hospital beforehand too because going into spontaneous labour with baby in this position is v dangerous. I’ve been kneeling on all fours and putting my head lower but had two horrendous nosebleeds so not doing the proper in inversions. The Spinning Babies website has some great info
