Possible PGP?

Hi all, I'm 9+3 with a singleton IVF pregnancy. I've had a bit of a rough ride so far with OHSS, but I've been recovering well and lucky enough to only suffer mild nausea (although pretty extreme exhaustion!) I'm currently away on a UK break and yesterday I did quite a bit more walking than I've done in a while, but it certainly wasn't miles. I noticed a touch of the old "lightening crotch" and "javelin arse" (sorry!) And also a slightly odd sensation in the lower abdomen when I passed urine. At first I thought this was related to constipation, but it's continued today and I don't think it is. I've been reading about PGP and now I'm wondering if it could be that? I see perineum pain is listed as a sympton? I'll be home tomorrow but not until late afternoon so it's going to be tricky to get a urine test from my GP before the weekend.

I would be more inclined to think you have a UTI. PGP affects your ligaments. You feel it in your public bone area, hips and sacroiliac joints. It is worse when turning over in bed, opening your legs too far and turning around too quickly.

Thanks @delilahbucket - I was swaying the same way, but just wondered after reading the symptoms of pgp. It does hurt when I open my legs, turn over in bed, get in and out of the car. But I agree a urine test would be the most sensible first step.

Yep agree with Delilah. I've had both UTI and PGP, and your description sounds more like a UTI to me. Do you have other urinary symptoms? Worth getting checked anyway like you said.
I didn't know PGP could happen as early as 9 weeks but maybe it can! If it is that, there are lots of things you can do to manage it.

It sounds more like a UTI. My PGP started around 12 weeks (although I didn't realise at the time) with a dull ache in my pelvis and sharp pains from my hips to my abdomen.
