Late period but negative CBD ????

Hey guys ,

I wondered if anyone has had a simlar experience to me that they could share?
my cycle is always 28 days but I am now 5 days late for my period !! I took a clearblue digital test on my period due date but it said not pregnant and I really don’t want to keep buying pregnancy tests so I have not tested since however still no sign of My period ?

Has any one else had a negative CBD but still been pregnant?

If your cycle is usually 28 days and you ovulated on day 14 (or later) and then implanted at 11DPO (or later) then there’s a chance that the CBD wouldn’t be sensitive enough to pick up such a small amount of HCG.
Digital tests aren’t particularly sensitive so it can take a few days after implantation to get a positive result. This is especially the case if your urine was diluted or you didn’t do the test first thing in the morning.

At 5 days after missing a period if you do a test now then you should get a definite answer.

Thank you , is it weird that I’m scared to take another test? it’s like I don’t want to know the answer or I’m scared it’s just going to say not pregnant 😩

No, not weird at all. I got a couple of negatives before I got my positive (because I was testing far too early 😂), as soon as I knew that I was unlikely to get a false negative I was really nervous to test because I wouldn’t be able to tell myself that it was just too early!

I'm 2 days late now but still getting BFNs, hopefully I'll get that BFP too!

Omg I’m so sorry, I read that wrong , I didn’t get a positive test I got my AF 2 weeks late sorry! Fingers crossed for you xxxx
