Movements at 17 weeks

I’m 17+4 with DC 4. Until about 10 days ago I’d been feeling flutters every so often. But barely anything since.
At what point do I go to be checked? I haven’t got another scan until 20 weeks. Can’t really afford to go for a private scan
I’m pretty sure I was feeling definite movements by this stage with the others. No mention of an anterior placenta at previous scans

You could phone triage for advice and see what they suggest.
I'm 18+3 with my second and feel some flutters most days but depends if I'm quiet or busy.

I sit/lie still and wait for movements but nothing. I have a Doppler and can easily find the heartbeat. I’ve used one with all my pregnancies so know what I’m listening for. Just worrying me I can’t FEEL him

You’re not supposed to start monitoring daily movement until after 24 weeks I believe.

From NHS website:

‘You should start to feel your baby move between around 16 and 24 weeks of pregnancy. If this is your first baby, you might not feel movements until after 20 weeks.

If you have not felt your baby move by 24 weeks, tell your midwife. They'll check your baby's heartbeat and movements.‘

I remember I would feel movement from about 15 weeks, I would feel something daily and then go days and days with nothing and freak out. If you’re worried there’s no harm in going in, I think I went in once at 20 weeks when I hadn’t felt anything all day and got freaked out. But at this stage the baby had probably just moved to somewhere you can’t feel it as it’s still quite small at this stage x

I'm 21 weeks and have only just started to get some movement. It's normal not to feel anything bit much at all at 17 weeks

With this being my 4th and having already felt movements, I’m worrying. I’m hoping he’s just hiding low down though.
Waiting for a call back from maternity triage

Totally get that - but movements really aren’t regular at this stage as the baby is so small still. If he’s moved to a different position he could be kicking and you may not be feeling it, that’s what happened with me.

Despite it being my first baby I started feeling movement from 15 weeks but I would sometimes go quite a few days without feeling anything.

Hope triage call you back soon and make you feel better! Good luck x

Hi. They called me back and said for me to pop in. I did and the midwife heard him within a minute! He’s very low down which is why I can’t feel him. Feeling much better now. Thank you
