Hi!

I've got a meeting with someone from my DDs school tomorrow, it's rather urgent so can't really put it off.

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and today I have felt rubbish. I keep sneezing, scratchy throat, bunged up nose and headache.
I've done a lateral flow and it's Negative.
There is a case of Covid in DDs class.
Everyone in our house has been tested and all Negative.

I'm really unsure what to do for the best. Am I still OK to go into the school? Or should I try and arrange it over the phone?

What would you do?

LFDs aren’t really meant for people with symptoms.
There are lots of other bugs going round, but without a PCR you can’t really confirm it’s not Covid.
Would your child be allowed in school with these symptoms? If so, you could go and wear a mask.
Or ask for it to be rearranged after you’ve had a chance to get a negative PCR.
Personally, if a meeting can be done over the phone at 28 weeks, I’d do it over the phone. Especially if you’re not feeling great to start with, schools are full of germs without Covid!
