Hi,
I have just recently found out that I’m 5 weeks pregnant. I’m 30 and this is my first pregnancy.
Since I found out I have had constant cramps in my lower tummy. They are not severe, a bit like period pains, but they are always there and seem to get worse a night time.
I have also had very light spotting for the past 5 days, it is very light and a pinky colour or sometimes light brown.

I know I need to stop googling things but I am feeling extremely anxious that something is wrong. I have no other pregnancy symptoms at all apart from cramping and light spotting.

I’m not sure what I’m even asking, but has anyone else had constant cramps in early pregnancy?

If you are getting worried lovely contact your midwife will ease your mind honestly I used to Google and worry all the time when I was pregnant my first pregnancy and you overthink so much! your midwife will probably check you over and talk you through xo

After getting a positive result last week I have quite a bit of cramping but no spotting at all. I did see somewhere that cramping and spotting are absolutely normal, but if you do get quite a bit of spotting I think they say it's best to speak to your GP just in case. Better to be safe than sorry I think and it should hopefully put your mind at ease!
