If you’ve had 4 miscarriages, you should’ve been referred for investigations, has that been done? I’m so sorry for your losses.
Have you taken a test with your first morning wee today?
I would recommend taking low dose aspirin (150mg per day in the evening with food) from ovulation. It worked for me after 2 losses. It thins the blood slightly and therefore helps oxygen and nutrients get to the baby which is especially important in the early weeks for all the development going on. I’ve taken it through this pregnancy (38 weeks now and will stop the day before my c section).
I also got a prescription for progesterone from around 6 weeks and took it until 12 weeks.
I also take methylfolate instead of folic acid. It’s the natural form of folic acid (which is synergic) and is more easily absorbed by the body. Some people actually cannot absorb folic acid very well.
I didn’t have any investigations as I only had 2 losses, but I took the above medications after extensive research, recommendations from friends and reading lots of positive stories on here. For all the above, they can’t do any harm but might help, and they seemed to work for me.
I’m also on metformin and myo inositol which regulate blood sugar and therefore hormones - as I have pcos I needed something to make my periods regular and they worked. I’ve continued taking them throughout as they are also supposed to be helpful for women who have had losses.
Best of luck and if you have any further questions please just let me know x
