Nub theory

This is my second pregnancy and I’ve only just found out about nub theory 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve tried to google it to understand it and at first I just thought if you could see a little “tinkler” then it’s a boy but if you don’t see anything then it’s a girl, but as I started researching on it started talking about angles of the spine or something and something about 30 degrees which is really confusing me. So anyway just wondered if anyone had any idea and could maybe predict this (13 weeks scan) I won’t have my gender scan until October 13th and can’t wait until then 🙄

Hey! I'm also 13 weeks pregnant and now obsessed with frantically googling nub theory 🤣 this is also dc2 for me too. I can be of no help without a stab in the dark guess, but if you're on Facebook there's a really good page called "nub theory queens" and you can post your photo or send it to an administrator to post anonymously and they have a look and guess for you.

Otherwise, there's a website called early glimpse where you pay a tenner and they analyse your scan for you.

I don't think I'm gonna find out although I'm desperate to know!! A few people have commented on the fb page suggesting girl but one of my scan photos look boyish and the other is girly 🤷‍♀️ xx

@Cheekymonkey3112 I'm actually 18 weeks now but posted this on different sites since 13 but not had much response but apparently it's because you can't see the nub which was what I was a getting told a lot so I guess I'll have to wait until my 20 week scan which is now 2 weeks away but it's so hard waiting when you just wanna know ASAP lol oh yeah and I did google some sites where you can send your scan and have them predict it for you but when I read the reviews apparently they're not very accurate at all and they just guess for fun 🤷🏻‍♀️ plus if you can't see the nub on mine then I don't see the point really .. Guess I'll just wait two weeks .... x

Agree you can’t really see the nub… however from the skull shape I’d say girl. Let us know!

@Honey2 oh really! I actually really want a girl as I've already got a boy and this will be my last pregnancy so one of each will be ideal plus my husband's mum had 5 boys and desperately wanted a girl, she actually stopped at 4 boys but thought she'd give it one last try and yep another boy lol so it'll be nice to give her a granddaughter but yeah tbh as long as it's a healthy baby that's all that matters x
