OP I'm sorry, I don't know what this could be but you might want to ask MN to add a warning to this post. Could you call your local early pregnancy unit?

So sorry your going through this sis you feel it did it feel tough, I have had 4 miscarriages and 1 cp and everytime I have had this and it's been the sac.

In no way trying to scare you, hope is nothing sinister did your cramping ease after this was passed.

lawandgin · 26/09/2021 22:03

@Mammytobee you can report the post, but I've done it so you don't need to. I'm sorry you have to wait for your scan, the pain of waiting is indescribable. I hope you have good support and look after yourself xx

@Mammytobee
In the hands of the recurrent miscarriage clinic at the min had a lot of bloods done and and internal and external ultrasound, have to have an mri nxt as they think I have a heart shape uterus.

hellray · 27/09/2021 07:01

I just been through the same thing, on now about 8 weeks but my bleeding started at 6 weeks and was passing larger clots than your with pain and lots of bleeding.

I’m still predicted a healthy pregnancy after a recent scan and they have diagnosed me with a sub chorionic bleed.

I hope this gives you some hope and not to give up just yet.

However I would recommend that you do prepare yourself for the worst as well.

I know how frustrating it is and I hope it the same outcome as me.

Best of luck x

BelieveInRainbows · 27/09/2021 07:17

You never know but I would definitely prepare yourself for the worst OP, that doesn't look like a standard blood clot. Looks like all the early miscarriages I've had sadly. I'm so sorry. The waiting around for confirmation is awful but there's really not much you can do at this stage. I don't recommend doing any pregnancy tests as you generally still test positive for a while after a loss as the hormone takes some time to leave your system. Look after yourself Flowers

So sorry to hear that and thank you so much for your reply. It's such a stressful process. Did your clots look exactly like mine? I have been so bloated since I found out I was pregnant which didn't seem normal for it to go as big at all but thats went down since losing that clot too did that happen with you by any chance?

That is brilliant so happy for you and goodluck 🤞.

Yeah we're definitely preparing ourselves for the worst we're back and forth with is it a miscarriage or sub chorionic because they're so similar.

But I guess we'll not know until the scan Friday 🙏 X

So sorry to hear that. Yeah I don't think so either and we're definitely trying to while clinging on to a little bit of hope 🤞.

Totally agree with you because the tests went down to 2-3 and getting faint lines and then back up to 3+ and dark lines. Which is playing with my mind because it should be going down only.
Thank you ♥️

And yeah I've been bleeding a week now it was brown for 4/5days then dark red then bright red cramps came then the clot. The pain has gone now I'm still bleeding but nothing like I was. The day before the clot I was at the hospital too and they said my cervix was closed x

I would certainly press for an earlier scan, even if you have to exaggerate the symptoms as it will be very hard wait until Friday. I’m sorry you are going through this. I’d try EPU again. It’s so tough not getting your hopes up but could go either way certainly at this early stage.

I wouldn't wish it on anyone. This week has been hell. I rang them today I've got a scan booked for 10am tmro now 🙏. I feel sick to my stomach known it's closer but I need to know as soon as possible. Still find my self constantly googling 🤦‍♀️.

Well I don't know but that looks a bit too large to be the sack at 6 weeks - should only be around 1cm. I don't want to get your hopes up too much though.

Hihelp · 27/09/2021 18:42

Did your cramping subside as soon as you passed this?
