Blood blisters on my vagina?

Hi. So I had a bit of a scare this morning with a spec of blood when I wiped so headed to the maternity day unit.

All checks on baby were normal and a speculum exam showed that my cervix was "long and closed".

However, when I got home, I realised I haven't three or four tiny blood-filled bubbles on the outside of my vagina so suspect these may be the culprits. I mentioned I felt swollen down there but the doc said it didn't look particularly swollen (dh says it's "very swollen")

Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to remedy it? I'm 24 weeks.

Thank you!

Typo: I HAVE not "haven't".

Hmm they could be the cause, although I don't think I'd be overly concerned if you've been checked over and everything looks ok Smile just keep an eye on it.

I'm also feeling swollen down there (which is totally normal), and I have a delightful varicose vein Hmm I've had no bleeding though so can't really advise on that.

I got these when I was pregnant with my second, apparently they’re varicose veins! Mine are still there four years later

I had these. Didn’t realise until I was about 33 weeks. They are very common apparently and mine vanished after baby came along

Yes varicose veins under the skin that surface a little bit. My last one went about a year after birth. They don't usually irritate.

And you will be 'swollen' down there, more so as you get closer to birth as increased blood flow and water retention etc impacts.

Thanks. Mine is sore to the touch and there are dots of blood if I pat it. I've put some Witch Hazel on it bit not sure what else to try...
