I haven’t been working at my current job long enough to qualify for SMP so I’ve had to apply for maternity allowance. Due in November.
My question is Does anyone know if you can bring your maternity leave date forward? And the process?
I sent off my documents to the maternity allowance department and they have received them. I wrote my maternity leave start date on November 11th but I want to change this to essentially, ASAP. I can’t take work anymore and the environment is causing me so much stress I need to leave ASAP I can’t go on another month+.
Even considering just quitting and handing notice in, that’s how shit I’m feeling. Does anyone have any info or knowledge on this? I can’t find much on google :(
