I had my first dose of Astrazeneca then a week later found out I was pregnant. Had bad stomach pains leg and arm aches after first dose. Then I caught covid at 13 weeks. So haven't had second dose yet. Spoke with a consultant I told them about my worries and she said I could have Pfizer for second dose if I choose but then have had doctors telling me I won't be be able to. I am now 25 weeks and have been driving myself mad thinking about it. Please offer support.

I'm sorry I can't say I've been in the same position at all but I know people who have had vaccinations in pregnancy with no issues.
Ive managed to have two doses before finding out I am pregnant again, but still petrified of catching it. I have a 9 month old baby too (we are bonkers I know) and I was terrified of catching covid last year but successfully avoided and had a healthy baby without vaccinations.
Good luck xx

I was a bit poorly after my first Astra Zeneca but absolutely fine after the 2nd.

Apparently it’s the other way round with Pfizer - first jab fine and can feel a bit rooey after the 2nd.

I’m sure you won’t feel as bad as you would if you got covid again later in pregnancy so I’d just go get whatever’s offered 👍

Why don't you book or go along to adrop in vaccination centre where you can discuss your concerns and vaccine options with a doctor or nurse?
It's important to get fully vaccinated before the highest period of risk in the 3rd trimester if you can.
And the good news is, if you do go ahead with a second jab then your baby will benefit by being protected in early life by your antibodies too!
