Pre eclampsia headaches

I'm very health anxious so I'm hoping that is all that is going on, but Ive had a lingering headache for the past couple of days! I did speak to my midwife about but she said as id taken paracetamol and pain went off, it doesn't sound like a pre eclampsia headache as they don't tend to go away with paracetamol.

My blood pressure is fine and urine has no protein is, and I have no swelling or any other symptoms so does it sound like I'm just being a worrier? Im 38 weeks pregnant so don't know the last time I had a good nights sleep so im unsure if being tired all the time will be helping cause the headaches!

I’m also 38 weeks and have had exactly the same! My midwife did a blood test just to be sure, so you could ask if that’s possible either at your next appt or at day unit x

I don’t know if this helps but I had a week of headaches, thought maybe pre eclampsia but didn’t have any other signs just thought maybe late pregnancy & busy week at work (I’m 35 weeks).
Turns out it was Covid 🙈 just maybe worth PCR test?
Took 5 lateral flow tests throughout the week and all negative, they’re useless I wouldn’t use them.
Had no other symptoms apart from headaches.

I actually had a PCR test a few days ago which come back negative, and have been isolating ever since ready for my c section next week!

I have a midwife appointment Tuesday, and my headache seems to have gone off now so I think I'll see how I get on over the weekend and head up to triage if it seems to come back!

I had pre-eclampsia at 38 weeks. I did have a headache but also very high BP & swelled up like a balloon to the point where the midwife saw me about 10 days later she said I looked like I'd been deflated Hmm.

Before that I just felt unwell for a couple of days, couldn't really put my finger on why. Definitely keep an eye on things - no harm getting checked again if you are worried.

I was induced at 38 weeks exactly, I should say, and all was fine

I had visual disturbances too? Looked like when you get up too quickly and see stars
