FTM, baby due in a couple of weeks, conscious of every twinge!

So just wondering... what were the first signs you were in labour?

Did you have a few days of feeling differently, nausea, cramps, etc, or was it a movie style gush of waters breaking and rushing to hosp?!

My first signs was hearing a pop and my waters started leaking, that was at 41wks exactly, I had Braxton Hicks the whole pregnancy and had felt like I was being cranked open for weeks so didn't take it as a sign of anything. I refused any sweeps etc and let nature take its course. Waters started leaking at 1:44am, baby born at 6:08am!

1st was a big gush in bed at 11.30pm 7 days overdue, he was born at 9.26am, didn't feel any different in anyway before hand, 2nd, again felt no different before hand i had what i thought at the time were baby Stretching (on my due date! Yey!) but just felt very tight, maybe 4 or 5 within 5 mins, then literally a few mins later felt a trickle, had more trickling within the space of a hour so got told to go to hops to check, stood up our of the car in the hospital car park when my waters went again with a big gush, (nice timing eh!) This was about half7 pm, DS2 was born at 4.20am x
