15 days from your period? do you have very long cycles? When was your last period? When did you ovulate?

Think that may be evaporation line..

If your period is 9th of each month, on average 30 day cycle then you are likely to ovulate around 25th which means you are about to ovulate. From there there is circa 2 weeks for implantation etc.

Unless I am missing something?

How come your period is on the 9th every month? Are you on the pill?

BelieveInRainbows · 24/09/2021 11:53

15 days before your period seems very unlikely to get a positive, and looking at the test the next day increases the liklihood of it being an evap line. You need to do another test, a pink dye test like a FRER is usually better and more sensitive, and read it within the time frame only.

15 days before AF is due, would be very unlikely to be a positive result.

Wait until AF is due, use a pink dye test and FMU

I suspect you can see an indent line but blue dye tests are notoriously crap

Sorry, it could be that you were pregnant last month - your last period might have been a chemical pregnancy or early miscarriage so then a faint line may still be visible a few weeks later.

Rosesareyellow · 24/09/2021 12:16

Or an ectopic - I had this. Take another test to be sure but if you still get a line you might need to phone your gp.

My body realises eggs at odd times. Maybe yours does too. Take another test, using different pregnancy test brand.

Ds1 I got my positive test at the right time frame and the scans agreed with it.

With ds2 I skipped a period and then finally got a positive when my second period was due. I was testing myself regularly, but I guess my body decided to skip a month. I got my late positive, so I wasn't surprised to lose 4 weeks off my due date.

Ds3, I only tested when my period was due and got a positive. Then during my scan they added two weeks to my due date. The only possibility was that I ovulated very early. Basically, the day after I finished my regular 8 day long menstruation.

I've heard (though this may be bollocks) that pregnancy tests can sometimes pick up ovulation. As other people have said, I would wait a couple of days and then take a first response early result test with your first morning urine, and that should give you a much clearer idea of what's going on.

I very much hope you get the result you want.
