Please help me moses baskets

I know this is totally dramatic and trivial but I cannot help but stress about this. Due baby in 2 days and stupidly did not pick up any sheets to go in a Claire De Lune moses basket. I think it was called a Noah pod. I have looked everywhere to try get some sheets that fit but every time I read the dimensions they are a few cm's too short. The ones from the website the earliest delivery it tells me is available is Wednesday so ideally if there is anything I could get sooner I would appreciate it. Please tell me which sheets you used and where you got them from? Thank you in advance❤️

We often just used large muslins tucked in with ours which worked fine.

Try Amazon for next day delivery

My MIL has made sheets, do you know anyone who sews? We also used tucked in muslins.

mumofmunchkin · 23/09/2021 15:21

I've used a pillowcase before, pop the mattress inside and fold/tuck the edges underneath the mattress.

saleorbouy · 23/09/2021 15:22

Just use a pillow case pulled over the mattress.

Sorry I know I am being totally dramatic 😂I looked on amazon and started reading the dimensions and not a single one said it was what I needed and the one I found all the reviews said it wasn't true to size and now I have made it over complicated for my self like a mad woman😂. Can I get the large muslins in the shops?

We just used pillow cases as my eldest was a pukey bugger and it would've cost a fortune to keep him in sheets!

Also tuck a muslin under at the top and change regularly to save changing the whole thing.

I just bought these large muslins from Amazon the other week and they are so handy if you needed to find some - www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01ELBF9F4?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title&tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Aden and Aeneid (?) have some gorgeous ones but these are bigger (which I wanted so I could fold them over)

Ameteurmum · 23/09/2021 17:44

I’m here to suggest pillow cases too - you can get packs in primark for like £2

We have a Claire de lune Noah pod and I just used the silent night Moses basket sheets from b&m. I didn't ever actually check the dimensions but they fitted fine
I do agree with pp about muslins though, I ended up using them over the top of the sheet as Ds was a very sicky baby and made changing so much quicker
Pillow cases are a genius idea though, j never thought of that but will definitely remember for when DD is born later this year
