Hi

Can anyone give me some hope and share any stories of bleeding which hasn't resulted in a miscarriage

I am currently only 6 weeks pregnant but have experience moderate bleeding without pain.. I am praying that this won't result in a miscarriage but it is in the back on my mind. I have had blood tests today and then will have them again on Friday to see if my levels have risen or dropped.

I feel so anxious ☹️

I am currently 13 weeks pregnant and have had on and off bleeding, sometimes when I wiped, it would stop and then maybe 3 or 4 weeks later would have it again. I have also had shoulder tip pain not at same time as the bleeding but i had myself convinced it was an etopic pregnancy. I have had 3 different scans so far, one if which was pravite and everything is fine. We worry ourselves sick sometimes, but it just goes to show that not all bleeding or pain etc means that there is something wrong. Worst thing to do is to Google anything, the best thing in my opinion is to get a scan even if you have to pay for a pravite one. Good luck I hope everything works out OK for you

Currently cuddling my 4wk old after spotting and bleeding (pain too but at a different time) at 5.5 weeks, 6.5wks and 9wks. Stay positive, I know it's hard.

All the best for you!

Aww that's amazing news! Do you mind me asking what the bleeding was like? Mine feels like a mini period, no pain, but blood wise! I've spent the last 2 days glued to google, I had a blood test yesterday and my levels are correct with how far along I think I am, but tomorrow's will tell me if they are dropping or rising, so nervous!! Xx

I had bleeding all the way through my first pregnancy (DD is now a lovely 11 year old). The only explanation I got was the blood vessels were bursting on my cervix causing the bleeding.

As for the bleeding it was sometimes just spotting but on occasions quite heavy red, which frightened the life out of me!

I don't recall having my levels checked just early scans. The bleeding was so frequent I had about 5 early scans. I only really started to relax and accept it as part of my pregnancy when I could feel baby moving.

I remember how worrying it is and reading what ever I could. Best of luck tomorrow Smile

First pregnancy I bled it didn't work out, second pregnancy I bled twice and have a newborn now.

@emmaelizabethx each time it was different, forst was just when I eiped a few times that day, second was heavier and I was sure I was miscarrying (just after xmas), it was like the fist day of a period and the bleed at 9weeks was fresh and I needed a pad, sae the midwife that day for booking in and when she saw she sent me for a scan straight away. I uad already had a scan at 8wks due to pain and that was my first scan. I had agreed with the GP at earlier bleeds that a scan so early (at5wks and 6wks) that the scan may cause more worry than anything. I was given lots of worst case scenarios through my pregnancy due to a large fibroid being discovered but I always stayed positive and it really helps!

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences, I think I just need to hear some positive ones to help me think positively, although I think in my heart of hearts I know it's going to be bad news SadI will keep you updated though. Thank you ladies Thanks xxx

For anyone who was interested, i ended up with bad pain in my right side and had a scan which confirmed it was due to internal bleeding but could see no pregnancy anywhere, turned out baby was growing in my left tube and I had to have it removed :( x
