Cyclogest and Covid jab number 2

Hi everyone,

I am using Cyclogest pessaries at the moment and am 24 weeks pregnant. I'm due my second Pfizer jab on Friday and wondered if anyone else has been using Cyclogest at same time as getting the jab? I can't see why it would be an issue as it is only progesterone which we have loads of when pregnant anyway and I did call and ask the hospital who said it was fine but always curious to see if anyone has any experience of this.

I had my second jab at 12 weeks and was on cyclogest, had no issues whatsoever x

Had my 2nd covid jab at 5 weeks and was on 400 mg cyclogest twice a day - it never even occured to me to mention it to anybody. No problems/real side effects with the vaccination, just had the usual aching arm afterwards that most people get.

Same as pp. Had 2nd covid jab at around 11/12 weeks and was on cyclogest twice a day. Told them I was pregnant, but didn’t think to mention the cyclogest. Had no issues. 👍🏻

I don't think there's any possible mechanism for interactions there so you should be fine.
