Sorry if this seems stupid to ask but this is my first pregnancy so I’m still very new with all the pregnancy stuff we get.

Did anyone else get intermiddent discomfort in lower tummy area like period aches during beginning of second
Trimester? It’s not painful but realy uncofmortable. I know there’s a lot of stretching going on as baby grows but didn’t expect pregnancy to be quite this uncofmortable🤦🏻
I was given a week of antibiotics for a uti recently which I would have thought would have cleared up by a week of being on them

Just wondering how it felt for other new mothers here during this period in pregnancy

Hi OP
Yes for me I had almost constant mild period like pain until about 10 weeks or so. It's started to ease but I've been getting the odd cramp. All very normal
I'm 14w5d and the pain has eased a good bit. Hopefully you feel better soon! x

Yes, I can 100% relate and still get the odd aches at 21 weeks

Yup, I've had plenty of the stretchy, slightly achy-pressure pre-period feeling. I must admit, sometimes it's scared me because I was so used to that being followed by bleeding! Nearly 26 weeks now and I sometimes get it but nowhere near as much as at the beginning of the second trimester :)

Yes I have that feeling a lot!
It feels like pressure/discomfort & a bit painful.
I keep thinking peeing will ease the pressure but often I don't need to pee or if I do it doesn't offer any relief to the feeling.
Incidentally I also had a basically symptomless UTI and am not convinced the antibiotics have gotten rid of it.

Thanks.

Did anyone notice it hurt to the touch on lower tummy too?

Yeah it's weird ! Just around my pelvis was warm and tender to the touch around the first 10 weeks. I guess it's baby making lots of room and space
